If you want to use the Linux Operating System, you'll find that there are not a lot of drivers available for the Linux Operating System. But, you can convert your drivers quickly from Windows Drivers to Linux by installing a program called NDISwrapper on your system. How to install:


Step 1

First of all, click on "system" & then click on "administration." 

Step 2

After then, click on "synaptic package manager." this results in opening a utility that is built into Linux that is designed to allow you to download and add software to your machine. This is similar to the way "add/remove programs" work in windows. 

Step 3

Then, type "ndiswrapper-utils" into the "search" box given. A listing of the same name will appear. Check the box next to it. After then, type "ndisgtk" into the "search-box". A listing of the same name will appear there. Now, check the box next to it. 

Step 4

Click on the "apply" button. Both components of the ndiswrapper utility will now be installed themselves onto your Linux computer. Now on, whenever you try to install windows driver on your pc, it will automatically be converted to a Linux-compatible equivalent.
